I'll be headed in to the Santa Cruz and San Fran area to visit a friend and go to Firedrums, april 14-16 (maybe as early as the 13th). Are there any weekly/monthly gatherings happening that weekend? I'll be in and out of red white and blue beach to visit my brother in Santa Cruz and my friend in San Fran... hoping to catch a spinjam or two in the area. Any suggestions?

Fri, March 10, 2006 - 12:22 PMAw man sorry bout getting too ire and flaking in SB, but spin jams in the area, if you can make it that thursday before you can come to sf stay at my pad or somewhere else and go gto two fire jams in one night......The grove and then off to spin jam!!!! And if you stay till sunday night, in santa cruz I think people burn by the light house? And in the bay people go to Nimby in Oakland........ -

I'm guessing that anyone who would normally go to the Park and/or Spin Jam on Thursday will go to Fire Drums instead. That's just a guess, I can't speak for anyone else, but I know I'll be at FD the whole time since it happens only once a year. I'll be skipping the Thursday night routine cuz there's 51 other weeks in the year for that.
If you can make it to SF on the Tuesday before FD or come back for the Tuesday after, the Park should be rockin'! -

Tue, April 11, 2006 - 10:45 PMHappening rain or shine - forecast looks like it'll be scattered showers, more of a drizzle... not storming. There is plans for a large tent, 40'x60', in case it does start pouring.
Most people are still going. You should *DEFINITELY* still attend.
